FREE MEDIA!

Although, certainly not a perfect service, it is perfectly free. I happened across Dizzler just the other day and am pleasantly surprised by what they have done. Essentially, you download a little application, install it and then proceed to search for free music, video, radio stations and games. No, this is not a file sharing program so you don't need to worry about the RIAA knocking on your door in two weeks time. Basically, Dizzler scraps streaming media all over the internet. If you want to know more about it click here. On another note, I was recently inducted into the Hulu beta. Hulu is essentially free streaming TV shows, movies and such sent right to your Desktop. Again, this is legal, unfortunately it includes commercials. However, each commercial spot is kept to a total of 30 seconds. So far, just one commercial for every 15 minutes...not bad. The video quality is good and it is quite amazing how quickly movies / shows queue up and are ready to play without further buffering issues. I am not sure when or if this service will be available to the general public but be sure to watch for it. On a rather large side note...you will need a high speed Internet service in order to take real advantage of these services.
